THE POWER YOU DESERVE

OUR STORY

PrimeRES Energy Corporation was established to help address the country’s growing demand for electricity services. Incorporated on April 13, 2022, PrimeRES aims to provide its customers and partners access to affordable and reliable power, tailored to meet their specific needs and business requirements.

PrimeRES is establishing a robust presence in the Retail Electricity Suppliers (RES) market, starting with the Razon Group as a key initial customer base, and extending our services to all eligible consumers. This strategic entry allows us to offer diverse and competitive energy solutions, moving beyond the traditional supply channels of distribution utilities, electric cooperatives, and the Wholesale Electricity Spot Market (WESM).

As part of the Retail Competition and Open Access (RCOA) initiative, PrimeRES is committed to offering contestable customers a dependable power supply sourced from the Razon Group’s blend of energy portfolio, which includes solar, natural gas, and hydroelectric power.

PrimeRES was granted a Retail Electricity Supply (RES) License by the Energy Regulatory Commission on March 19, 2024. It is expected to commence commercial operations within the year and is targeting a portfolio of approximately 200 megawatts of customer demand by 2027.

WHAT WE CAN OFFER

RCOA lets you choose your electricity supplier, like choosing your phone plan! Businesses with high consumption (currently 500 kW and above) can shop for the best deals from Retail Electricity Suppliers (RES) instead of being limited to their local utility. This can mean lower prices, better service, choice of renewable supply source and more energy solutions.

Even smaller consumers can join RCOA! By forming an aggregated group, smaller businesses and households can collectively reach the consumption threshold. This aggregated group can then avail of the benefits of retail competition through supply contract with RES.
